DaiCon

I am sure most of the anime fans out there would be aware that DaiCon is being held today and tomorrow in MMU Cyberjaya's grandhall. Well, I was informed by Jacquelyn about this grand event several days ago. Kinda shame as although it is held in my campus but I don't really aware and know anything about it until Jac told me about it! So again thanks Jac for informing me^^ It is a great event and although I am not really into anime stuff but still I am impress by the japanese culture and the cosplay is seriously cool. Today I felt that I am kinda outdated as before this I know nothing about anime. Huh, at least today I finally have a better picture about this culture. It is amazing as there is quite a number of people that dressed up in costume that look similarly to anime character! It is kinda cute seriously! And they also have this Maid Cafe with the super creative concept as the waitress with the cute dress would serve like a maid and the customer would be the master. Kinda interesting isn't it! Well, enough of words and lets look at the pictures shall we! Find out more at http://daiconnews.com/

Urbanscapes 2009

This is my very first time to visit Urbanscapes. Urbanscapes 2009 was held at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac) and it was officially launched on 27th June 2009 at 12 noon yesterday. It was an event organized by KLue and same like last year, they were still sticking to the one concept: Urbanscapes being a user-generated festival. What does that means? It means it is all about YOU! Yea you hear it right! Everyone that went to the event were entitled to vote in acts, participate in open mics and so on. On the similar note, KLue Urbanscapes 2009 emphazised on going green this year and if you notice, most of the stalls were using recycled material as plastic bags and as well visitors were encouraged to bring their own shopping bags to the fest! How great was that! Basically the event was about art ranging from interactive exhibitions, music, film, performances art, photography, nightlife, food and last but not least SHOPPING. Seriously girls would enjoy the event to the most. You know why? Well yesterday I met one girl and she bought 3 handbags within hours and she asked me to drive her out to find ATM machine. Guess how much did she withdrawed? Rm1500 and again she went back to shop till the midnight. Hmm, now you can imagine how crazy the shopping went^^ Anyway, it was a great event by KLue. To find out more and to have a look at the flash back of the event, feel free to visit http://www.urbanscapes.com.my.

Upstairs

Last Thursday, first week of the new trimester, again we went clubbing at Upstairs. Since it was ladies night, we were expecting crowds but yea it was a turn down when we saw only small group of people there. Anyhow we enjoyed ourselves and this is the first time I took the first step to dance at the dance floor when there is no one dancing. Hmm, it felt great although I am not so so good in dancing^^ But after a while people started to join in and hell that was the part that makes the spending pay off. Or else, it would like just wasting money paying for the Hennessy that we opened. Well, I am officially broke this month due to few outings and food. Yea, I eat a lot nowadays! Suprisingly I lost weight after the school reopen. Hmm, I guess it is consider a good start for a new sem? Yea you bet it is^^

Met up with Racheal's God Brother

As slow as a turtle

It has been a while since I last blog, as slow as a turtle? Instead, the reason why I didn't blog for so long actually sort of related with turtle. I borrowed 3 turtles from Ning few days ago and I am like addicted playing with them^^ Out of three, I just play more with one of the turtle. Her name is TaiKo, and yes I know she is a female but she is kinda playful and likes to bully the other two so that is why I call her "big brother" instead. Her name supposed to be Strawberry but I do feel that TaiKo does suit her personality better. We spend a lot of time together this few days. We played marathon, I let her slept on my tummy at night and we went swimming together! Sounds weird? But it was really fun and she is really adorable. I tell you, it is hard to find such active turtle nowadays!!! Haha.. Anyway, lets look at how adorable my TaiKo is ok^^

Cambodia

I went Cambodia for a seven days trip with my family straightly after my semester break started. It was fun and I could say that Cambodia is an ideal place for photo shotting^^ As for me, I fully used the 8G memory card of mine to the max and overall over thousands pictures were took during the seven days trip. Most of the pictures were took in the country's prime attraction for visitor-Angkor Wat, which is situated in Siem Reap. Other than that, we did visit the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia- The Tonle Sap. At first I was expecting a clear unpolluted freshwater lake but it disappointed me as during our boat ride there what I could see was only a sea of teh tarik. Anyway, I was shock to see how the villagers there manage to breed pigs on the lake! I am not sure whether it is true or just a trick to amuse tourists and will pull the pigs back onto the shore during night. Hmm, no idea..

Besides that, the currency that is used in Cambodia is riel(KHR) but at the same time US dollar is widely used as well. From my understanding, the average income of the normal people in Cambodia in their capital range from 100 to 150 US dollar per month. And in restaurant, one dish would cost 3-4 US dollar. Even our "char koey tiao" and "hokkien mee" cost 2.80 US dollar! So the food is consider quite expensive as if we take the average salary as a base.

Anyway, lets look at some the pictures I took in Cambodia! Cheers~

I did marry a Cambodian girl in the cultural Village^^

So that is all for now^^
Hopefully I didn't bored you guys out with tons of pictures of mine^^
Cheers~

Semester BREAK!!!

Hi guys, sorry I was kinda busy with my final recently and yes at last yesterday I finished my last paper^^ Only now I get to online after so long! I notice there are some comments in my chat box and sorry I was unable to reply them few days back. Well, I will reply all of the comments as soon as I finish this post k^^ I had my last paper yesterday, from 2.30-4.30pm. And well, straight after the final I called Simon, Zeck and OBC to help me move my stuff as I am moving to single room starting next semester! So so happy! By the way, thanks guys for helping me to carry all those heavy stuff of mine. As I mention earlier in my previous post, I am changing my course to Finance starting next semester. I am now eagerly waiting for the new semester to start despite I just had my last paper yesterday as I am sure I will enjoy the course and learn things that I like by then. Anyway, I am glad everything has finally come to an end and hopefully next semester would be a brand new pleasant start for my another 3 years degree course. It has been tiring, and I think I do need to get a good rest before a new journey. I will be having 2 weeks break, although it seems short but I will fully enjoy it to the max! By the way, again I will be away from my blog for few days as I will be going to Cambodia tomorrow morning. So sorry if I am unable to publish the comments when I am not in ya. Anyhow I will still publish them if I am able to online there. So take care guys^^ Before I go, check out some of the pictures we took as we went to chill at Euphoria last night. An advice from me, if you are under 18, make sure you don't look at the last picture! Wanna know why? You will know when you see it^^

Guess what time we reached Euphoria?

Random scene during finals

For the past few days, or maybe weeks, my time, in the sense of sleep and waking up has differ far from so called normal's routine. Now, I sleep at around 11 in the morning and wake up at 6 in the evening. Means I have my breakfast somewhere around 7pm, lunch at 1am and dinner at 4am. Somehow I found night is enjoyable for me, not like I go club, but I enjoy the time for me to be alone, sometimes. Especially lately I have so many things in mind, and it does help as I only manage to think clearly at night. There is no pressure at night, and one thing it is more cooling^^ I used to play basketball under hot burning sun, but now, I can't even stand the hot air that flows in during noon. Plus, lack of exercise recently, gaining weight now but I do think it is good for me^^ Seriously I can never be fat no mater how much I eat, and now, I am trying so damn hard to be fat at least once in my life! WTH right? Haha.. Anyway, I went Sunway last night for Angels and Demons with the same old gang Simon, Zeck and OBC. The movie started at 11.55pm and ended at 2.15am. Then before going back we went yamcha first. Talking talking suddenly some fella at another table start arguing because of car scratching thing, then started to fight. Then we got ourselves free action movie again when one fella start fighting and hit the other guy with plastic chair. Watched the "movie" till 4am like that, we chao and went to Dengkil for the famous chicken rice. And till now, I am still updating my blog!!! Anyway, there is some funny pics that we took, have a look^^ NItez~

Zeck I assume you are checking the air pressure?

Pumped in full tank of petrol before we
headed to Sunway
